How to get involved

24+ individuals and teams will take to a treadmill over the 24-hour period from 6pm 27 October to 6pm 28 October 2023. Our goal is to raise awareness and raise much needed funds to rescue children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation. We are aiming to raise a minimum of $24,000 for Destiny Rescue.

Set up your online fundraising profile. Each team or individual commits to raise at least $1000.

Jump on a treadmill!

Jump on a treadmill for 1 hour. You can do it at Snap Fitness Maddingley or a treadmill near you.

About Destiny Rescue

Destiny Rescue exists to rescue kids from human trafficking and sexual expoltaition and help them stay free.

Why get involved?

Over 1 million children are exploited by sex trafficking.

The funds you raise will be used for vital aspects of rescue operations such as:

  • Investigation missions to locate and verify underaged victims and their perpetrators
  • Undercover visits where rescue agents build trust with trafficked victims to offer them a way out
  • Providing tactical gear for rescue agents to locate victims and gather evidence against traffickers
  • Extraction costs for a child to move back to their home, Destiny Rescue’s care, or placement by a government caseworker

Meet the team

Josh Cauchi is the owner of Arkham Fitness. He is a personal trainer who has walked the same road and fought the same challenges as many of those that he now trains.

Marija Caruana-Smith is the owner of Altura Legal. A lawyer of nearly 17 years who specialises in building and construction disputes and general commercial disputes.

Josh and Marija have come together to raise awareness and much needed funds to a cause close their hearts – rescuing some of the most vulnerable people in this world … children … from the clutches of traffickers.
